It was an honour to have been invited to participate as an author panellist for the Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto.
Some of the items I discussed included:
-sandwich generation caregivers
-caregiver stress management
-Dementia and its increasing prevalence in the Black Community.
I’ll also share tidbits about my #childrensbook The Amazing Zoe and Grandma’s Memory Box, a story that tackles the difficult and highly sensitive topic of #AlzheimersDisease This book is used as a tool for parents to help explain #alzheimers to children. Young readers are offered several tips on how they can support their loved ones through the eyes of the main character, Zoe. Watch/Listen Here.
