Excitement is building as we gear up for the launch of Zou Zou Media House Bookmobile.

Prepare to be thrilled by the groundbreaking mobile book market and activity centre! We are on a mission to bring these inclusive stories closer to our communities.

LAUNCH DATE: February 15th-17th

LOCATION: Downsview Airport Lands indoor venue in Toronto (10 Hanover Road). Just look for the ‘Kidpalooza’ event.

Time: 10 AM – 6PM

Get ready, GTA communities and beyond—the Zou Zou Media House Bookstoore and Mobile Activity Centre is coming to you! This one-of-a-kind mobile initiative is packed with fun, creativity, and inspiration, making every stop unforgettable. From schools and parks to community events and birthday parties, the wheels of wonder truck will deliver joy wherever it goes.

Kids and families can enjoy interactive read-alouds, arts and crafts, engaging workshops, and exciting dance competitions. We’ll also host seminars and activities designed to inspire creativity, emotional well-being, and social awareness in kids of all ages.

That’s not all! The Wheels of Wonder Truck doubles as a mobile shop featuring exclusive works published by Zou Zou Media House such as The AMazing Zoe series. Plus, we’ll showcase creations from local diverse authors and small businesses, giving you the chance to discover and support amazing talents within our community.

This initiative is more than just entertainment—it’s about bringing people together, celebrating diversity, and inspiring young minds in an exciting, meaningful way. Whether at a school visit, a birthday party, or a community event, this mobile centre will create lasting memories and will spread happiness wherever it stops.

We’re inviting local authors, creators, and small businesses to showcase their talents on board. Be part of this unique initiative and connect with schools, families, and communities. Your journey promises increased exposure in various markets, media coverage and more. Join us for numerous event opportunities and abundant access to sell your books. Here, everyone’s a winner.

Eligibility:

  • Indie authors, publishers, and vendors. Priority to diverse or unique narratives/small businesses.

  • ❌ We Do Not Accept: Food, beverages, or perishable items unless otherwise stated.

Term Duration: 6 months or greater, depending on sales of the book/product.

Wheels of Wonder Bookmobile

There is a one-time application fee of $100. Please make your $100 payment to: [email protected]. To ensure we know who funds are received by, do place your name/business name in the ‘message’ section when sending your transfer.

Your fee will be applied to creating and maintaining your profile on our website. Additionally, it will cover the cost of an author feature display, including a URL code linked to your book for your scheduled read-aloud day.

Authors will also participate in rotating scheduled read-aloud sessions. 

There are no additional fees required for the Bookmobile’s appearance at various markets or events.

Standard Bookstore Rates Apply. There will be a revenue share that is split between Vendor/Bookmobile as shown below:

Wholesale/Consignment Model (Books and Merch).

The author/vendor will receive 60% and the bookmobile will retain 40% of the retail price.

Tracking Your Inventory

  • All items must be labelled with ISBN (for books) or product name for inventory tracking. Be sure all items are counted with a packing list that includes your contact information, quantity and cost per item. 

Stock Replenishment:

  • Vendors are asked to provide 6 books per title or up to 8 quantities of merchandise at a time.

  • If stock runs low, the Bookmobile will notify the vendor for restocking.

 

 

How do I get my items to the bookmobile?

  • Vendors must ship all products to our receiving location at their own expense. Please ship merch to The Mississauga Seventh-day Adventist Church at 2250 Credit Valley Rd. Mississauga, ON. L5M 4L9. Please email us to confirm when the items should arrive to ensure someone is available to receive your items.

  • If in the Toronto area, scheduled drop-offs can be arranged. Please email Valene at [email protected] with the title “Drop Off Request”

Stocking and Restocking: Vendors are asked to provide 6 copies of your title(s)/items to begin. You will be notified when a restock is required. Drop off for your books/merch MUST BE SCHEDULED.

Lost or Stolen Items: The Zou Zou Media Bookmobile is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.

When will i receive payment?

Payout to authors/vendors will occur bi-monthly on the 5th of the month. If the 5th falls on a weekend/holiday, payment will be processed on the next business  day. Payments will be made via e-transfer.

Returns Policy:

  • Unsold books/items must be picked up within 30 days of notification. Shipping fees will apply.

  • If not collected, the Bookmobile reserves the right to donate or discount the books.

By registering as a vendor on The Zou Zou Media Bookmobile, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. We look forward to showcasing your wonderful children’s books to young readers in the Greater Toronto Area/across Canada and fostering a love for reading and imagination!
